BASIC WAGE.
"EDUCED THROUGHOUT AUSTRALIA.
United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyrieht (Received July 23, 1.10 a.m.) SYDNEY, July 22. The Federal basic wage has been reduced in all States, in sympathy with prices and living costs. Queensland workers, under the Federal awards, lose 5/1, New South Wales 1/-, and other States from 6d to 1/6 per week.
