AUSTRALIANS IN SCOTLAND. United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright LONDON, July 21. In the match between the Australians and West of Scotland at Glasgow, Scotland declared with the score as it stood at stumps on Saturday—six for 140. The weather was dull and the wicket was soft when the Australians went in. The match ended in a draw, as it was limited to two days. At the luncheon adjournment Bradman had more than doubled Woodfull’s total. His batting delighted the 5000 spectators who were present. The bowling was sadly deficient in length, and the pair added 198 for the second wicket, giving the fieldsmen a lively time. Jackson and a’Beckett added 67 for the sixth wicket, but otherwise the batsmen shaped badly. Following are the scores:— WEST SCOTLAND. First Innings.
