BUNGALOW GUTTED. By Telegraph—Press Association HOKITIKA, July 17. A fire at 2.30 this afternoon badly gutted a five-roomed bungalow on Gibson Quay, owned and occupied by Gordon Bryant. Mrs Bryant left the house a short time before. The outbreak was discovered by a neighbour. The insurance on the building was £4OO and the furniture £175. BAKER'S PREMISES DESTROYED. At 8 o'clock last night a fire at Kamo destroyed a baker’s shop and residence combined, owned by Mr Harry Wilkinson and occupied by Mrs Moore, also an adjoining dwelling, owned by Mr James Swann and occupied by Mr and Mrs Johnson.
