A congregational meeting of St. John's Presbyterian Church. Greymouth, adopted a recommendation to extend a call to the Rev. H. R. Fell, of Temuka. The death is reported from Christchurch of Mr William Reece, a director of the Bank of New Zealand for the past 16 years, in his 74th year. He was chairman of the Christchurch Gas Company for a long period, and was an ex-Mayor of the city.
