PERSONAL
The Timaru Chamber of Commerce last evening, on the motion of the president. Mr 'P. B. Foote, passed a vote of condolence to the relatives of the late Sir Josenh Ward, in their recent bereavement. The Right Rev. F. A. Bennett, Bishop of Antearoa, is expected to arrive in Wellington shortly, on his way to Raratonga. where he will spend some months of convalescence. The Bishop recovered well from two severe operations. and left the hospital at Rotorua for a brief visit to Hawke’s Bay before proceeding south.
