THE WEATHER.
Mr F. L. Wooles. Wind moderate north-east to northerly; weather fair. Dominion Meteorologist. An anti-cyclone is advancing on to New Zealand. Pressure has fallen again over eastern Australia. Expect winds strong south-westerly decreasing, and later veering to westerly and north-westerly from Cook Strait southward. Seas rough between Akaroa and East Cape, and on the West Coast of the North Island; elsewhere moderate. Weather cold and changeable, with scattered showers, but improving rapidly; later becoming unsettled again in the West Coast and southern districts of the South Island.
