A feature of the market to-day was a chopper sold by ourselves, on account of Mr C. Stace (Springston), the price being £ll. It was bought by Mr J. Andrews, pork butcher. Another good chopper brought £lO/10/-. The bacon market was small, and all lots were sold at a little better prices than last week. In the store pig section, 120 pigs were offered, of which we sold 85. The wet weather affected the attendance of buyers, nevertheless large stores sold well, while weaners were slightly easier. W. F.
