CASUALTIES.
MAIL TRAIN HITS LORRY. By Telegraph—Press Association WELLINGTON, July 15. The Wellington-bound mail train from Napier struck a motor-lorry loaded with posts at a railway crossing south of Oringi, near Woodville. to-day. The engine was disabled, and the lorry was damaged, but no one was injured. A relief engine was despatched from Woodville to the scene of the accident, and the train then continued its journey southward, and arrived at Wellington a little over an hour late.
