WINCHESTER LADIES’ CLUB. The Winchester Ladies’ Miniature Rifle Club held their weekly shoot on Thursday evening, when Mr J. A. Paterson’s trophy was fired for. Mrs T. A. De Renzy proved the winner. The following were the best scores, including handicaps:—Mrs T. A. De Renzy 79. Miss J. De Renzy 77, Miss M. De Renzy 76. Mrs H. J. Hopkins 74, Miss M.* McKinnon 74. Mrs W. E. Knight 71, Mrs C. McClelland 72. Mrs R. J. Russell 70. Miss R. South 72. Mrs W. Pearce 71, Mrs S. Skelton 69. Mrs Bruce 66. Mrs W. L. Reilly 63, Mrs P. Curridge 61, ST. PATRICK S CLUB. At the weekly shoot of St. Patrick's Club last Wednesday evening, the following were the best scores registered: L. McKeefry 80, M. Healey 79, R. Seaman 78, J. Power 78,' J. Seaman 78. J. Murphy 77, J. Healey 77, B. Jefferson 77. E. Power 76, J. Batchelor 76, B. Leydon 75, V. Colline 73, J. O’Connor 71, T. Travis 71, T. Healey 71, M. O’Connor 68, F. Gunderson 67, A. Skinner 66. The following will shoot off for last week's trophy:—M. Healey, R. Leaman, B. Leydon, L. McKeefry, J. Leaman, B. Jefferson, A. Skinner, M. O’Connor, J. Power, F. Gunderson and J. Murphy. The winner of the third week’s trophy was J. Healey.

SOUTH CANTERBURY CHAMPIONSHIP. A meeting of delegates from the South Canterbury Club was held in the Drill Hall on Saturday:—Present— Mr F. Lewis (chairman). W. O'Connor, L. McKeefry (St. Patrick’s), W. T. Taylor and H. Roberts (Pleasant Point), F. Chittock and J. Mundy (Claremont), W. Wood (Washdyke), W. Best (Fire Brigade), R. Parker. R. A. Rodgers, W. Duncan and W. Bradshaw (Timaru), and A. Thoreau (secretary). After a good deal of consideration it was unanimously decided to hold the shoot on Saturday, 2nd August. The following prize money was allotted:—Total for teams, individual and aggregate, £6O. Teams £25, individual £l6, aggregate £l9. Officials were appointed as follows: Range officers, Messrs J. Thomas, W. Duncan, W. O’Connor, J. Mundy; target utewards, Messrs J. Collins. J. Moore. L. B. Agnew; firing point stewards, Messrs L. McKeefry, J. Stevenson, W. Skelton. G.
