MANY DEATHS REPORTED. United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright (Received July 13, 5.5 p.m.) NEW YORK, July 12. The Middle Western States are expecting relief to-night from the tense heat wave, which in a week has caused 171 deaths. The temperatures ranged as high as 111 degrees. The crops are scorched.
