THE WEATHER
Dominion Meteorologist. A slight wave of low pressure crossed the Dominion last night. Pressure appears to be rather uniform over the Tasman Sea, but is rising over eastern Australia. Expect winds light to moderate, and variable, with westerlies prevailing, but a change to strong southerlies probable after about 24 hours. Seas smooth to moderate. Weather fair to cloudy and rather mild at first, with scattered rain. A cold change with snow in the highlands probable after about 24 hours.
