Lure Of Atlantic Crossing. AVIATOR NOT DETERRED BY CRASH. United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright (Received July 9, 7.0 p.m.) NEW YORK, July 8. A report from St. John states that Major C. S. Wynne-Eyton was painfully injured when a Dehaviland Puss Moth aeroplane crashed in the takeoff for Harbour Grace, when he had planned to start a lone flight to Ireland, and announces that he is returning to England, and will come over to New Foundland again next year, when he will attempt the flight with the same type of ’plane. EASTWARD FLIGHT. ANOTHER ATLANTIC ADVENTURE. United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright RIO DE JANEIRO. July 8. A message from Natal states that Jean Mermoz, the French mail flyer, who recently carried a mail westward across the South Atlantic, left there this afternoon on an eastward flight.
