UNEMPLOYMENT.
ACUTE IN MASTERTON. By Telegraph—Press Association MASTERTON, July 9. The unemployed situation in Masterton appears to be fairly acute. It is declared that the position is now worse than it was two weeks ago, despite the fact that twenty men have been taken on by the Borough. A meeting of unemployed this morning depided to make more urgent representations, and to send a delegate to Wellington.
