LAMBETH CONFERENCE.
GREAT ASSEMBLAGE OF BISHOPS, By Telegraph—Press Association LONDON, July 7. Three hundred Bishops who are gathered from all over the world attended the opening session of the Lambeth Conference at Lambeth Palace. It is the greatest assemblage of Bishops in London’s history, and represents practically every nation. It includes Japanese, Chinese, and African Bishops whose dioceses are greater than Great Britain itself. The conference sits privately for a month.
