CASUALTIES.
KILLED AT RAILWAY CROSSING. By Telegraph—Press Association AUCKLAND. July 8. Alexander Johnston <BB>. of Mt. Eden, was killed when he was struck by a train at a level crossing at Argylle Street, Morningside. this evenIng. No one saw the accident. When the train arrived at Mt. Eden station a walking stick was found on the cowcatcher. This led to investigation, and deceased's body was found two chains beyond the crossing. Deceased leaves a wife and four daughters.
