TRENTHAM TRACK NOTES. By Telegraph—Preas AsjKv'iauon. WELLINGTON, July 7. The weather was better at Trentham than in the city and the tracks were in fair order, but were cutting up a trifle more. All work this morning, except where mentioned, was done on the grass. Dolomite and King Musket did an easy five furlongs in lmin llsec. Consent finished well clear of Intruder at the end of five furlongs run in lmin 7sec, the last four being run in 52 4-ssec. Hunting Call ran an easy four furlongs ir> 55sec. Goblin Market went a smart half mile in 50sec.

Lady’s Boy and Maori Boy ran five furlongs in lmin 9sec, the last half being run in 55 3-ssec. They could have done better.

Odin galloped a solid mile and a quarter, the last mile being run in lmin 58sec. '

Son o’ Mine went out to jump three fences, but landed on top of the first and was not persevered with. Nucleus jumped three hurdles well. Pedestal and Half Acre together ran five furlongs in lmin 8 4-ssec. Paddon, on the sand, which was much faster than the track, ran half a mile easily in 51sec.

Kiosk, on the outside, beat Mendip and Mt. Shannon over six furlongs in lmin 21 l-ssec, the last four furlongs being run in 55sec. Matu and Panorama, on the sand, went seven furlongs in lmin 39 2-ssec. Semper Paratus and Hurly Burly ran five furlongs in lmin 7 l-ssec. The former was going very well. Avro beat Aurora Borealis with Flying Swift well back over six furlongs in lmin 23&sec, the last five being run in lmin 9 2-ssec. Avro went very well. Duellona and Staghunter ran half a mile in 52 1 sec. NEW ZEALAND TROTTING ASSOCIATION. By Telegraph -Pres* AsuoeiAtitfl. WELLINGTON, July 7. The Board of the New Zealand Trotting Association met to-day. Victoria intimated that twelve months’ disqualification had been imposed on S. Bennett (driver), and the mare Sylvia Rose, for not trying to win the Grampian Stakes, at Ararat, on April 26; and H. O. Connor (driver) and the mare Pearl Voyage, for not trying to win at Behdigo on May 3. West Australia intimated similarly with respect to W. A. Shadford (driver), and the mare Mengelling, at Perth, on May 17. It was decided that there was not enough evidence to justify placing Arachne (Auckland) on the schooling list owing to behaviour at the barrier. The Board was advised that Great Author’s time in the Victoria Hack Handicap at Greymouth was 3min 37 2-ssec, an error having beefl made cfwing to the wrong number being displayed. The Board approved the dismissal of the charge of interference against L. O. Thomas, driver of Lady Fan, at Christchurch, on June 3. The Ashburton decision in reversing the placings in the Longbeach Handicap, on June 14, was endorsed. The life disqualification of T. E. Mortimer (Southland) was lifted, on the strong recommendation of a number of clubs. G. Milligan was fined £2 for failing to notify the transfer of Bluewood, after being repeatedly requested to comply with the rules. Messrs Williams, Harley, Armstrong ahd McKenzie will be re-elected to the Board, as there were no other nominations.
