The list , | is not $ very lengthy one. | Sunny weather prevailed over the I town and district yesterday. There was a slight frost in the morning, and it appears as if a fine spell of weather will now hold. COMEDY PROGRAMME TO-NIGHT. | “Dames Ahoy,” a sparkling comedy, with Glenn Tryon, Helen Wight. Otis Harlan and Eddie Gubbon, will be the screen attraction at Temuka tonight. The plot deals with the adventures of three sailors, who set out to find a blonde who has tricked one of their number into signing away half his pay. Tryon, ignorant of what he is doing, wins a dance contest, I carrying a prize of £IOO, a bungalow | and a bride. Tryon is at his fun- i making best. Otis Harlan gives one , of his noteworthy characterisations, j ■ and Eddie Gubbon contributes a highly t humorous performance. Good sup- • | porting pictures include two comedies. J
