Challenge To Nationalist Congress. ARREST OF LEADERS. United Press Association—By Electrlo Telegraph—Copyright (Received July 2, 8.20 p.m.) DELHI, July S. Pundit Nehru and Dr. Mahmud hay* been each sentenced to six months’ simple Imprisonment on a charge at being members of an unlawful assembly. Naubana Abul Kalam Azad, another prominent congressman has been arrested at Patna. The United Provinces Government has issued an order forbidding all Lahore banks making payments to those congress associations, which have been declared illegal. It is announced that the proposed visit of the Marylebone cricketers for a tour of India has been definitely postponed.
