THE WEATHER.
Mr F. L. Wooles. Wind moderate to fresh south to south-east; weather changeable, with scattered showers, and cold. Dominion Meteorologist. Yesterday’s cyclone has filled up, and an anti-cyclone now covers the whole of the Dominion and the Tasman Sea. A slight low pressure wave is crossing the southern Tasman. Expect winds variable north of New Plymouth and Napier; elsewhere moderate northwesterlies, freshening somewhat. Seas smooth to moderate. Weather fair to fine in most districts, with moderate temperatures; some showers, however, on the West Coast of the South Island and in southern Otago and Southland.
