POLICEMAN’S DISMISSAL.
COMMISSION OF INQUIRY. By Telegraph—P:s&«s Asportation. WELLINGTON, July 1. A special Committee has been appointed to inquire into the dismissal by the late Commissioner of Police (Mr W. B. Mcllvenoy) of SeniorSergeant, Bonisfch, formerly an officer at the Taranaki Street Police station, who recently pleaded guilty to breaches of the Police Regulations. The Committee consists of Mr E. Page. S.M., who is acting as chairman; Mr J. A. McGrath, formerly Superintendent of Police at Dunedin; and Dr. T. G. Gray, Director-General of Mental Hospitals. Investigation is proceeding.
