HIT'BY NON-STOP CAR. By Telegraph—Pre3S Association. HAMILTON, July 1. Knocked down by a motor car on the Great South Road at Horotin late last evening, Arthur Richardson (30 years), was admitted to hospital suffering from concussion and extensive abrasions. The injured man had left his motor cycle on the side of the road, and was crossing the road to get benzine when a passing car collided with him. The car did not stop. The injured man’s condition is not dangerous. INFANT S BODY FOUND. By Telegraph—Pres* Association. WELLINGTON. July 1. The body of a newly-born infant was found at the rear of a building in Boulcott Street yesterday. When the discovery was made the body was subi merged in some water, contained in a receptacle in an outbuilding. Inquiries are at present being conducted by the police. NO BLAME FOR DRIVER. McNeil, S.M.. touching the death of Mrs Sarah Williams (77). of Dewsbury Terrace, in a private hospital, after having collided with a motor lorry on June 16. The Coroner said, having heard all the evidence, he could not find any blame attachable to the driver of the lorry. His finding would be that Mrs Williams died as a result of injuries received through a fall caused through colliding with a motor lorry driven by Charles Thomas Bridge. FOUND DEAD.
