MINIATURE RIFLES.
WASHDYKE CLUB. A further shoot of the Washdyke Miniature Rifle Club was held on Tuesday night, when the first round for a three-night trophy, donated by Mr W. R. Grant, was completed. A large percentage of members was present, and some of the best scores off the rifle were:—A. Ross 7G, R. Moore 76, R. Taylor 74, W. Wood 72, F. Jackson 72, P. Applegarth 72, J. King 71, D. Stocker 71, K. Hunt 65. With handicaps, the following reached the possible:—H. King, R. Taylor, R. Moore, and W. Wood. The second round for this trophy will be fired on Tuesday.
