VISIT TO DEEP WORKINGS. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, May 30. The Prince of Wales to-day went down 400 ft. deep into a tin mine in Helston, in Cornwall. Wearing overalls, he was taken down the shaft in a cage worked by electricity, and walked through the workings of the mine, having to stoop in places to negotiate the tunnels. The process of the excavation and extraction of tin from the ore was explained to him.
