LIBRARY SOCIAL. The fortnightly social in aid of the Peel Forest Library was held on Saturday evening, and proved most successful. The prizes were won .by Mrs F. PoppTewell and Mr J. Turton. The consolation- prizes were won by Miss J. Turton and Mr D. Pringle. ORARI BRIDGE. The fortnightly social iri aid of the Orari Bridge Hall fund was held on Wednesday evening and again proved a great success. The prizes were won by Miss Stella Brown (Belfield) and Mr Twiss (Geraldine). The music for

the dance was supplied by Mrs Whiting. and Mr W. Ford carried out the duties of M.C. MINIATURE RIFLE CLUB. The first shoot of the Peel Forest Miniature Rifle Club was held on Tuesday evening. The following were ihe highest scores:—F. Cain 78. F. Stevenson 77, G. Fifleld 75, O. Keen 72, R. Rutherford 69, G. Upritchard 72. The Orari Bridge Men’s Miniature Rifle Club scores were:—W.
