SIR JOSEPH WARD.
NOW SERIOUSLY ILL. By Telegraph—Press Association. ROTORUA, May 29. An official communication issued states that Sir Joseph Ward is now seriously ill. Prior to the recent Cabinet meeting his medical adviseds was very concerned about the marked change in his health. However, with the release from the heavy burdens of office it was hoped his health would have a chance of improvement, but unfortunately this has not taken place. At present Sir Joseph Ward’s condition is serious. SLIGHTLY BETTER DAY. By Telegraph—Press Association. WELLINGTON. May 29. It is officially stated that Sir Joseph Ward had had a slightly better day to-day.
