PLAY IN KIRK-WINDEYER CUP. TRIBUTE TO NEW ZEALAND FORM. (United Press Association—TJy Eiectrlo Telegraph—Copyright.) SYDNEY, April 29. The New South Wales golfers, who lost the Kirk-Windeyer Cup to New Zealand, declared in their return:— “We met a better team and have no excuses to make.” The Victorian member, Hancock, said:—“After seeing the New Zealand golfers I have formed the opinion that Australians can’t putt.” TIMARU V. OAMARU. The following have been selected to represent the Timaru Golf Club in the match to be played at Oamaru on Saturday next:—
