CALLOUS CRIMINAL.
CONVICTED OF MANSLAUGHTER. (United Press Association—By Electrlo Telegraph—Copyright.) (Received April 30, 12.55 a.m.) SYDNEY, April 29. Paul Meniel, charged with murder at Narrabri, was convicted of manslaughter and sentenced to fifteen years’ gaol. The Judge was unable to understand how the jury could arrive at manslaughter. He described Meniel as a singularly callolis criminal.
