STRIKES IN JAPAN.
TOKIO CAR WORKERS RETURN TO WORK. (TTnlttd Pres* Association—By Electrl* Telegraph—Copyright.) TOXIO, April 23. Four thousand street car strikers in Tokio returned to work this morning. At Kobe the situation is reported to be improving, indicating that the approaching collapse of the transport strike is due to the firmness of the authorities, coupled with the immense extent of the unemployment and the difficulties of the Jobless.
