Cleaning, like many other obligations, can be carried to an extent where it becomes a weriness of the flesh; but a simple routine will enable the owner to keep his vehicle spick and •pan although he devotes only five minutes a day and an hour during the week-end to this work. But he must have suitable cleaning equipment, and have it ready to hand always, so that he does not yield to the temptation of neglecting to give the car its nightly “lick and a promise" because he must first go and hunt for a cloth or a “•hammy.”
