ANOTHER SUICIDE AT GRAFTON BRIDGE. By Telegraph—Press Association. AUCKLAND, April 24. Shortly before 2 o’clock this afternoon, James Farrell, aged between 65 and 70 years, scrambled over the parapet of Grafton Bridge, above, the deepest place, and fell into the gully far below. He was found in a dying state. He left a note in his pocket saying: “Good-bye, boys. I’m a done man.” According to an eye-witness, Farrell ran along the pathway to the middle of the bridge. He then halted, dragged himself up on,to the parapet, and rolled over into space. The dead man lived at Ponsonby Rciad. He was evidently destitute judging by his poor clothing, and his boots were in tatters. A first aid outfit and a stretcher wera immediately taken to the foot of the gully, but the man was dead.
