F. L. Wooles. Wind moderate, westerly ruling; weather fair to cloudy, and mild; slightly unsettled later. Dominion Meteorologist. An anti-cyclone still extends from New Zealand to Australia. A slight low pressure wave has, however, crossed southern New Zealand to-day, and disturbed conditions are indicated north of Norfolk Island. Expect winds strong easterly north of Auckland, and strong westerly about Foveaux Strait; elsewhere variable, but with light to moderate southerly prevailing. Seas rather rough north of East Cape, and in Foveaux Strait; elsewhere smooth to moderate. Weather still mainly fair to fine, but further showers in the extreme north and south of the Dominion, and also some isolated showers on the East Coast. Cold temperaturec, with inland frosts.
