EFFECTS OF TREATY.
WILL STOP NAVAL CONSTRUCTION COMPETITION. (United Press Association—By Electrlo Telegraph—Copyright.) WASHINGTON, April 10. After discussing the general naval situation with President Hoover, Representative Burton L. French (Idaho), chairman of the House Appropriations Naval Sub-Committee, predicted today that the Naval Treaty would stop naval construction competition among the nations.
