(United Pro** Association—By SHootrlo Telegraph—Copyright.) (Received April 10, 8.30 p.m.) NEWCASTLE, April 10. At the inquiry into the fire which nearly destroyed the oil tanker British Honor, on February 24th, the Coroner returned a verdict that the fire was caused through a starboard sea valve being left open by a member of the crew, thereby allowing the benzine to escape into the local harbour. It is understood that the cost of repairs to the vessel will be £30,000.
