SIX LIVES LOST.
EXPLOSION ABOARD DESTROYER. ROYAL SYMPATHY EXPRESSED. (Unite* Press Association—By Elecvns Tel egraph—Copyright.) LONDON, April 9. The First Lord of the Admiralty (Mr A. N. Alexander) has received a message from the King expressing distress at the disastrous accidental explosion aboard the destroyer Sepoy, resulting in the loss of valuable lives. His Majesty desires that his heartfelt sympathy should be conveyed to the bereaved families, and inquiries made, on his behalf, regarding the condition of the injured. The Admiralty announces the death of another injured man, making six deaths.
