GANDHI’S REVOLT.
ARREST OF PROMINENT CONGRESSMEN. (United Press Assoc’atlon—Ey Eiectrlo Telegraph—Copyright.) (Received April li, 1.6 a.m.) DELHI, April 10. The action by the Delhi police in arresting thirteen prominent Congressmen, is the latest development in the movement to violate the salt laws. The arrested include Davidas (Gandhi’s son), who is the second to fall into police hands. He is charged with sedition. Mahatma Gandhi is at present at Bhimrad, where he arrived yesterday to the accompaniment of a chorus of specially seditious songs, rendered by a large group of peasant women. The number of arrests now , total 150. Several leaders and volunteers have received sentences ranging from one year, to two and half years, hard labour.
