His Honour Mr Justice Kennedy passed through Timaru, on his way to Dunedin yesterday. The Minister of Internal Affairs (Hon. P. A. de la Perrelle) passed through Timaru on his way south by the first express yesterday.
Mr J. H. Gilbert, Dunedin, who has been appointed manager of the Timaru branch of the Union Steamship Company, is expected to arrive in Timaru on Monday next.
An official wireless from Rugby reports that Mr Arthur Henderson (Foreign Minister) stated in the House of Commons that Lord Cecil would represent the British Government at the next meeting of the Preparatory Commission for Disarmament at Geneva.
