OTAGO OFFICERS’ CLUB URGES CAUTION. By Telegraph—Press Association. DUNEDIN, April 10. At a meeting ot the Otago Officers' Club, at which, public body representatives were present, it was resolved: “That this meeting views with graxe concern the situation in regard to national defence, as reported »n the press, and urges upon the Premier the danger of disruptive action, and the necessity of full investigation and consideration before taking action.’ In its opinion nothing short of a Royal Commission including experts from England, is competent to investigate and report.
