LEOPARD LOOSE.
FIERCE RAIDS ON SHEEP. (United Pr«A9 Association—By Electric Tel egr ap’i—Cody rl ght.) SYDNEY, April 8. Farmers in the Goulburn district are convinced that a cub leopard, which escaped fifteen months ago, is responsible for the slaughter of sheep in Tallong. About a dozen sheep have literally been torn to shreds in the last few nights. People have reported having heard a strange roar at night, and one man said that he saw a tiger in the bush.
