DIVED TO DEATH.

GERMAN JUNKER ’PLANE DESTROYED. (United Press Association—By Electric Tel egraph—Copy right.) (Received April 8, 12.50 a.m.) LONDON, April 7. A German pilot and a mechanic were killed when a Junker freight airplane from Croydon to Berlin, crashed in Surrey. It is understood the airplane flew low to avoid the clouds. The pilot misjudged the distance and struck earth, the machine bursting into flames.
