FATAL CRASH

AIR PILOT MORTALLY INJURED. Morris John Cameron, a pilot instructor, was seriously injured yesterday afternoon in an aeroplane crash. He had been giving lessons to the owner of the machine, and made several flights with him in the morning. In the afternoon, Cameron made a solo flight, and had just done some stunting when the engine stalled. The 'plane nose-dived and became partly buried in soft mud at Porrria. The pilot was seriously injured and was extricated with difficulty. A telegram from Wellington at 10 p.m. stated that Cameron died in Wellington Hospital without regaining consciousness.
