TIMARU LADIES’ CLUB. A challenge for the Boyle Cup has been received from Avondale Ladies’ Club, Christchurch, and the match will be played on the Highfield links on Saturday morning. Play will commence at 8.45. Timaru will be represented by:— Misses Pringle, Tizard (2), Anstey and McKerchar. KIRK-WINDEYER CUP. AUSTRALIAN TEAM ARRIVES. By Telegraph—Pr.?ss Association. INVERCARGILL, April 7. Among the passengers by the Maheno, which arrived at Bluff tonight, were members of the Australian Kirk-Windeyer Cup golf team. They were to have played a match with the Invercargill Club at Otatara to-day, but it had to be abandoned owing to the late arrival of the vessel. The team will leave for Dunedin in the morning.
