AMERICAN SENATE APPROVES BIG SCHEME. (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) (Received April 6, 5.5 p.m.) WASHINGTON, April 5. The Senate, by a vote of 45 to 23, approved of Senator Norris’s resolution for the Governmental operation of the 150,000,000-dollar power plant at Muscle Shoals, a Bill for which President Coolidge gave a pocket veto. It now goes to the House, where is will face a strenuous fight.
