Anxiety is felt concerning the whereabouts of George Blackwell, a railway servant, aged 38, who left home yesterday morning and failed to return. John Henry Sunnex (22), single, bush worker, employed by the National Timber Company, Ngongotaha, was killed by a hauler rope in the bush. The hauler was taking a heavy angle pull, when the block broke. The rebound of the rope from a intervening tree struck the deceased, and killed him instantly.
