AUSTRALIA’S CROPS.

BENEFIT OF SPLENDID RAIN. (United P-ess Association—By SHectrl. Teleg-apb—Copyrlgbt ) SYDNEY, March 15. A splendid rain has fallen in the agricultural and pastoral areas of Australia during the past week. South Australia and Western Australia have received a good drenching in the early part of the week, since when Victoria and Tasmania, and now New South Wales have benefited more or less substantially. The wheat belt of Victoria reports a most encouraging, changed outlook, and stimulated business.
