Free Church Protests. EXPRESSIONS OF HORROR. (United Press Assoc’atlon—By Electric 1 elegraph—Cod vright.) (Received March 14, 8.30 p.m.) LONDON, March 14. The Free Churches of Nottingham passed a resolution expressing horror at the religious persecution in Russia, and appealing for freedom of religious belief. The Rev. Herbert Leggate, of Manchester, described many young people to-day as having ukulele souls.
