CLAIMED FOR ITALIAN AIRMAN. (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) (Received February 23. 5.5 p.m.) ROME, February 22. It is officially announced that Signor Donati, in a Fiat touring airoplane, beat the world’s altitude record, attaining 22,250 ft, compared with Captain De Haviland’s record in Britain, of 19,862 ft. in a Moth.
