NATIONAL PARK.
TOLL GATES AEOLISHED. By Telegraeb—Association. WELLINGTON, February 22. The Tongariro National Park Board met yesterday. It was decided to proceed with the lease of further areas of 85 acres to the Tourist Company, to enable them to complete the laying out of golf links and accommodate additional buildings. The Main Highways Board having taken over the new Bruce road, the by-law providing for toll charges was revoked. No further tolls on this road or Ohakune track will be collected.
