I am glad you like Christchurch. Yes, I have seen the Museum. It is very interesting. How do you like your new school?—P.P. “Dawn Queen,” Hazelburn: I was pleased to get such a nice little letter from Dawn Queen. What do you call your little kitten? I wonder if you had to whistle while you were picking the raspberries!—P.P. “Queen Mary,” Timaru: I am sure you will be quite a busy little 'person at school this year, Queen Mary. Did you have a happy holiday at Geraldine? What do you call your kitten? —P.P. “Bumble Bee,” Winchester : What a splendid holiday you had in Christchurch, Bumble Bee. You will write me a longer letter next time, won’t you, dear. —P.P. “Little Dorrit,” St. Andrews: I am sorry another Circlian has been given your pen-name, Little Dorrit, and will ask Cicely to change hers next time she writes. “Gipsy Girl,” Cannington: A nice little letter from my Gipsy Girl. Yes, I was fond of school, too, when I was a little person. Have you been for many bathes in the river lately?—P.P.

“Happy-Go-Lucky,” Four Peaks: I am glad you like your new pen-name, Patricia, and I am glad Mother is going to send you Our Pages, when you are away at school. Your letter was neatly written. I hope Goblin is quite better again now. Thank you for the riddles. —P.P.

“New Zealand Rose,” Albury:: Such a nice letter from New Zealand Rose. Yes, I had a splendid holiday “beyond the skyline blue.” I have been for ever so many bathes this season, and if the Weather Clerk treats us kindly I hope to go for ever so many more. Thank you for the riddles. —P.P. “Pansy Silver,” Pareora East: Father Christmas treated you well at Christmas time, Pansy Silver. What do you call your new doll? Have you been for many bathes lately?—P.P. Frank Shepherd, Timaru: I enjoyed reading “Victory!” Frank, and, although it was rather long, have shortened it, and will give it a place in Our Page. Your idea is a good one, and I liked the drawing you sent me, although all drawings have to be finished in Indian Ink before they can be reproduced. I do not think we could carry out your suggestion, as few Circlians could illustrate their stories

well enough, all drawing must be finished in Indian Ink, and we have very little spare' space in Our Page. I hope you will write some more original stories for me. You may have “SpeedFiend” for your pen-name.—P.P. “Cone Fairy,” Pleasant Point: Your letter was nicely written, Cone Fairy. I am glad you did so well at school last year, and passed your music exam, too. Yes, I have been for a number of bathes this season. It is splendid to be able to swim, isn’t it. —P.P. “Miss Puzzle,” Pleasant Point: Quite a neat wee letter from my Miss Puzzle. Yes, Santa Claus is very kind to little people. I am glad you had a happy birthday, and received some lovely presents. The sheep do not like being dipped at all do they, but of course it does them lots of good.—P.P. “Red Eagle,” Omarama: I was very pleased to hear from Red Eagle again. The Weather Clerk did not treat us at all well during the holidays, did he, but I am sure you have been able to have quite a number of bathes lately. What crowds of birds you must have about your place. What about writing some more stories for me.—P.P. “Rose Petals,” Temuka: A nicely written letter from Rose Petals. I hope you will be able to see all Our "Christmas Ship” Toys next year, dear. Yes, I am sure little brother thought he was quite a wealthy man! Has he spent his precious half-penny yet? —P.P. “Lady Love,” Pleasant Point: So Lady Love hasn’t quite forgotten me! I am so glad! It is fun watching the men work in the harvest field, isn’t it.
