EMBROIDERED SHOES.
Embroidered shoes for evening wear are a dainty notion. The prettiest ones seen were of pale blue satin, embroidered at intervals with tiny rosebuds in pink. Very dainfy, too, were a pair of blonde satin, embroidered in and all-over design in gdld. Coloured shoes are charming everyone at the moment with their elegance. They are of blue, green, red, mauve and violet, incrusted with narrow strips of leather of some other colour, but the. smartest of all is the shoes in two colours. Red heels and tips and the rest grey, for instance, or duck-blue heels and toes, and the rest black patent leather. Black patent leather with openwork showing white underneath is a great fancy. For evening wear, black satin shoes with silver or gold heels are very chic.
