KEEP YOUR GOOD LOOKS.
Always remember to under, rather than overdo, any form of "make-up,” and never use cheap, highly-scented face powder. It is well worth while paying a good price and getting the very best. A wonderful eye-brightening lotion, which costs next to nothing can be made with boric acid crystals. Every night and morning, before going to bed, dissolve enough of the crystals to cover a sixpenny piece—not more—in a glassful of warm water. Fill an eyebath with the lotion, and blink one eye into it several times; refill one eye-bath and repeat the treatment with the other eye, and so on, until all the lotion is used up. You will never suffer from weak, watery eyes if you do this persistently. While on the subject of eyes castor oil is an excellent eyelash and eyebrow grower. If this is applied to the brows and lashes—only the tips of the latter, for the roots soon feed themselves from the lashes—with a small camel’s-hair brush, a wonderful improvement will take place in a month.
